The form collects your name, preferred contact method (phone, email or WhatsApp), email address, postcode, preferred store, product or service interest, any selected range, and the full address and message you choose to provide. You must choose a preferred contact method and provide an email address and postcode for every enquiry. A phone number is also required for phone or WhatsApp replies. Your postcode helps the store discuss measuring, fitting or delivery. Your full address and message are optional. The originating page, time of submission and an enquiry reference are added to help handle and investigate the request. Please do not include payment details, passwords, health information or other sensitive information in your message.

We use these details to respond, prepare a requested quote and discuss products, measuring, fitting or delivery. For a requested quote, this supports steps you ask us to take before a possible purchase. We also have a legitimate interest in answering general enquiries and keeping the form secure. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing or confirm a purchase. Any email-marketing choice is separate and optional. Providing the required email address does not change your chosen enquiry reply method. You may contact a store by telephone instead. If you choose WhatsApp, the store may use WhatsApp to reply to the number you provide.

When an optional email sign-up is available, you can separately choose to receive email news and offers from Martin’s Discount Stores. You do not have to opt in to make an enquiry or request a quote. We do not add earlier quote enquiries to a marketing list just because an email address was provided. Submitting the form does not trigger a marketing or welcome email. Providing an email address for news and offers does not change your chosen enquiry reply method. When optional sign-up is enabled, Make also stores the marketing consent register and records of withdrawals on Martin’s behalf, separately from enquiry notifications. The register is for authorised Martin’s and website-support staff, not for marketing other businesses.

You may withdraw email-marketing consent at any time by contacting [email protected], including before the first marketing email is sent. Any marketing email we send will include an unsubscribe option. We keep the records needed to demonstrate consent and respect withdrawals for as long as they are needed for those purposes. Enquiry retention is determined by the time needed to answer the request, prepare and follow up the quote, handle any resulting order and meet applicable record-keeping or dispute requirements. Enquiries should not be kept for longer than those purposes require. Technical records held by hosting, automation and email providers are subject to their service settings. Contact the website team or your store for the retention arrangements applying to your enquiry, or to request deletion where applicable.

You can request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate details and, where applicable, deletion, restriction, portability or object to its use. Contact your store or [email protected] to exercise these rights or raise a concern. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
