If you would like to pay towards an item in the run-up to Christmas and have it held while you pay, please ask the store whether this can be arranged for your chosen item. The team needs to confirm the payment and holding terms directly with you before you commit.
Ask about any deposit, the payment schedule, when the balance is due, how long an item can be held, and the cancellation or refund terms. Also confirm when collection or delivery can take place. Choosing carpet, vinyl or laminate for your home
For a bedroom or living room, think about the feel of a carpet underfoot as well as its colour. On stairs and in hallways, ask about suitability for the amount of use the area receives. Bring photographs of the room and compare actual samples rather than relying on a screen.
If you are considering vinyl for a kitchen or laminate for a living space, discuss cleaning, moisture exposure, the existing floor and the particular product’s suitability. Check door clearances and transitions between rooms too. There is no single flooring choice that suits every home.

Before choosing a bed or mattress, measure the room and the existing bed base. The mattress size and the outside dimensions of a bed frame are not always the same. Allow space for doors, drawers and walking around the bed, and check the delivery route through your home, including stairs and tight corners.
Visit the showroom to discuss mattress support and comfort, bed sizes and suitable bases. Tell the team whether you are replacing an everyday mattress or furnishing a guest bedroom. Ask which sizes and options are available and what the lead time is for the exact item you choose.
If you are also replacing the bedroom carpet, discuss the order of the work before booking. It is useful to agree when the room will be clear, when fitting can happen and when the bed can be delivered.
Measuring, fitting and delivery: what to check
For a flooring enquiry, bring a rough room sketch with measurements and units, your postcode, photographs and your preferred timing. Initial measurements help the conversation, but ordering quantities and fitting arrangements should be checked with the store.
Please remove existing flooring and clear furniture before fitting. If you need help with either, speak to the store in advance to arrange this at an additional cost. Do not assume removal or disposal is included in a flooring quote.
